2023. Unspeakable, appalling deeds are still being done in the name of sick religious and imperialistic ideas. The time when love and reason would universally win on Earth is yet to come. But we don't get to wait for better times, or to choose another life in another time on another world. The only possible strategy is to make the most out of "here and now".

Its not easy to dream big right now, but despite the circumstances, I try to look forward into the future with a tiny bit of optimism.

The music here was born out of my recent experiments with lo-fi, tape-like loops, and is deliberately long in form. I totally could make an efficient, 5 minute "radio-edit" of it, but giving it time to breathe made more sense for the mood and tone of the track. Just let the layers of cello loops and synth textures envelop you and carry you to this warm place.
