You’re standing in a vast, open green field. You’re free to go wherever you want. So many choices, paths are open to you. But where would you go, and why? We all often find ourselves with more questions than answers. The synth sound you hear is my NS Design electric cello, layered with a long delay, but instead of the normal cello bow, I’ve used an ebow, borrowed from my dear cousin Danny. Instead of the physical contact, an ebow excites the strings electromagnetically, giving this pure, clean sound. The tone was further enhanced with two pitchshifters, set to fifths up and down, and mixed with the core sound.
