My first live performance this year. The first ever live set outside of Chernihiv, my hometown. And the first one in the fine city of Lviv. Amazing, right?
Well, as much as I loved it, the context of this life show is very dark. Things are pretty messed up in Ukraine. We’re at war. At war with the enemy that has no regard for human life. Enemy that happily and with great enthusiasm rape our women and children, torture and kill both our military and civilians. They take great pleasure destroying our cities and culture, our history and our future.
They proudly describe their atrocities to their wives and mothers, and get words of encouragement in return - to rape, to torture and kill more and more.
And I’m the lucky one. I’m alive and well. Many people around the globe helped me. I get to live and to love, and to make music. But what’s next?
I really don’t know.
